 GAVS Support Team

The Support Team offers additional support to services the student might receive in his/her local school or educational environment. The primary mission for the team is to support the learning process. These GAVS staff members assist all parties with registration, student progress, withdrawals, communication with online teachers, and any special circumstances that might arise during the semester for the student. In addition, the counselors on the team offer online support and resources to students and parents in areas such as post-secondary options, financial aid for college, career exploration, and study skills. Team members' contact information is in the box labeled Meet the Team.

If you need assistance in planning your academic classes, or need to explore your options for after graduating, please visit the GUIDANCE CENTER.

For additional academic resources, visit the MEDIA CENTER once you are enrolled in a GAVS course.

 Tips for Success

Tips for Success in an online class:

  1. Login and work every day. Getting behind is the number one cause of failure!
  2. Check email regularly.
  3. Communicate if you are having trouble. Contact your teacher first and then your facilitator. If you don't get a response within a day or so, contact a member of the support team.
