Georgia Virtual School's faculty and staff are all highly qualified, Georgia certified teachers, administrators, and/or counselors.  They reside in locations across the state, with some faculty members living as far as Florida, Alabama, New Jersey, and Missouri.  As with Georgia Virtual School students, Georgia Virtual School's instructors only need an Internet-connected computer to teach their students.  However, they get together face-to-face at least twice a year for teacher training retreats, where they continue to learn how to give their students the best service possible.
