Lynne Whitley, Program Coordinator for Internal Technology

Lynne's responsibilities include the oversight of technology growth and development of the Georgia Virtual School website, as well as collaborating with other local and state agencies. She was previously a Technology Specialist with Georgia Virtual School. She has been with the Georgia Virtual School since January 2008.

Prior to working for Georgia Virtual School, Lynne worked in the fields of Instructional Technology and e-learning as a web designer and curriculum developer and manager. She also taught Applied Computer Science at the university level. Lynne has a B.S. in Printing Management and a M.S. in Applied Computer Science.

   
 Justin Rogers, Technology Specialist

j roger As Technology Specialist for Georgia Virtual School, Justin Rogers' responsibilities include the supervision of all information technology applications, databases, systems, functions, and staff.  Justin also serves as the lead programmer for the school’s registration system.

Justin’s previous experience includes serving as an Application Developer for Georgia Virtual Technical College (GVTC) where he actively managed the GVTC network, learning management system, and web application development. Before GVTC, Justin served as Network Administrator at East Central Technical College (ECTC), administering the computer network and technical support for the ECTC system.

Justin holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix and is actively pursuing a Masters Degree in Applied Computer Science.

   
 Jason Grizzle, Technology Support Specialist

As Technology Support Specialist for the Georgia Virtual School, Jason's responsibilities include managing and facilitating projects to support the website, registration, and course mangagement systems of the Georgia Virtual School program.

Jason's previous experience includes serving as an elementary and middle school instructional technology coordinator/trainer. He also taught English, journalism, and technology at the middle and high school level.

Jason has a B.A. in English from Georgia State University and an M. Ed. from North Georgia College and State University.

   
 Maria Savoldi, Technology Specialist for Student Support

Maria Savoldi joined the staff of Georgia Virtual School in 2006 and currently serves as the Technology Specialist for Student Support. Prior to working with the Georgia Virtual School program, Maria spent 14 years serving in Georgia public schools in various roles including teacher, media specialist and director of instructional media and technology. She has served as the president of the Georgia Association for Instructional Technology, president of the Division of School Media and Technology for the Association for Educational Communications and Technology, presented at state and national educational conferences and spent several years working as a trainer for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards™.

Maria holds a M.Ed. degree in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University, a B.A. degree in Psychology from Penn State University and earned her teaching credentials from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.
