Amanda Gibson is a Georgia native from the city of Macon. She spent several years in the Military as an Supply Petty Officer in the US Naval Service. In the US Naval Service, she traveled the world, training and assisting in military combat with the naval seabees. Also, aboard a Military Aircraft Carrier (USS Kitty Hawk) she performed inventory surplus and financial budget supply. After the military, Amanda worked as a help desk/telephone support clerk and then was promoted to the Assistant to the Director of Technology at Atlanta Public School System, where she continues to maintain financial assistance and administrative support duties. Amanda then proceeded to work at the Internal Revuene Service as a Tax Examiner Technician to prepare tax adjustment documents, pay posting vouchers, post payments received , and prepare notices of Liens.
In recent years, she obtained a Bachelors degree online from the University of Phoenix in Business Accounting. Currently, Amanda works at Georgia Virtual School as a Accounting Clerk to maintain vendor payments, school inventory, school payment issues and credit card payments. She enjoys working with children and helping them advance in their knowledge and education.
